Boarding Kennels

Oaklands is a small, family-run boarding kennels in the countryside just outside Stafford. Since 2013 we’ve looked after countless dogs from families right across the local area, and our philosophy hasn’t changed since day one — every dog that stays with us is treated as one of our own.

We’re not an industrial boarding operation. Run by Emma and her family, we’re hands-on, hometown kennels where dogs aren’t just numbers. Every guest gets the time, attention and routine they need to settle in and feel at home. We take the time to learn each dog’s quirks, their feeding routine and the little things that make them comfortable, so even nervous first-timers relax into their stay.

What’s included in every stay

Every dog that boards with us enjoys spacious, heated individual kennels, multiple walks each day, and feeding to your own routine so nothing about their day-to-day changes. We’ll also send photo updates while you’re away, so you can see for yourself that they’re happy, settled and having a good time.

Safe hands, always

As a local-authority licensed kennels, we’re fully insured and recommended by vets across the area. Vaccinations are checked on every arrival, our staff are trained in canine first aid, and we have a vet on call for any moment we might need one — so you can head off knowing your dog is in genuinely safe hands.

Whether your dog is a confident regular, a nervous rescue or a senior who needs a little extra care, we welcome dogs of every shape, size and temperament. If your dog has particular needs, just let us know when you book and we’ll make sure they’re looked after exactly as they would be at home.
