Microchipping is a quick, simple way to keep your dog protected and a legal requirement for every dog to be chipped and registered to its owner. We have two Peddymark-certified implanters here at Oaklands who’ll make the whole process calm, gentle and stress-free, for a single pet or a whole litter.

Losing a dog is every owner’s worst fear and a microchip is the simplest way to make sure that if the worst happens, your dog can always be traced straight back to you. It’s also a legal requirement for all dogs to be microchipped and registered to their owners, so it’s one of the first and most important things to sort for any new pet or litter.
The good news is it couldn’t be easier. We have two Peddymark-certified implanters here at Oaklands who can microchip your pet in a quick, gentle and stress-free process. The chip itself is tiny, around the size of a grain of rice and is implanted in seconds, with most dogs barely noticing a thing. Whether you’ve got a single dog or a whole litter to do, we’ll make it calm and straightforward from start to finish.
We can microchip whole litters of puppies or individual animals. Every microchip includes implanting the chip, registering the animal to the breeder on the Animal Tracker database, a free simple-transfer receipt to pass to the new owner, and a pet tag stating the animal is microchipped.

Your Appointment
Microchipping is by appointment, so we can give your dog or litter the time and calm they need. Please try to arrive on time for your slot — if you’re running late or need to rearrange, just give us a call and we’ll do our best to help.
Collection & Delivery
Can’t make it to us? We offer a collection and delivery service for your dog — a minimum £5.00 charge, then £1.30 per mile.
